What is DBA?

Sometimes companies require or decide to acquire a commercial name different from the legal business name.

This trade name is commonly referred to as a fictitious name or DBA (Doing business as), and refers to any supposed designation that is not the same as the company name.

It's important to know that your company may have several fictitious names, but these will not give you a new EIN (Company Identification Number). Each company can have only one EIN.

Additionally, each fictitious name has a specific validity time. For more information on this, contact us.
