Accounting services
Advisory.
A single session with a US-licensed accountant, given to one question that deserves a considered answer. Counsel before a costly assumption takes root.

When counsel is warranted.
Most accounting and tax decisions are routine. A few are not. The ones that shape how a company is structured, or how the next year of taxes resolves, merit a considered conversation with someone who has navigated the same matter many times before.
Our consultations are made for those moments. A single session, addressed to one specific question, closed with a written summary so the record of what was advised rests with us, not your memory of the call.
- Choosing between LLC, C-Corp, and S-Corp before incorporating
- Deciding whether to elect S-Corp tax status for an existing LLC
- Setting up a multi-entity structure for a holding company
- Sales tax nexus questions when selling across multiple US states
- International tax planning for non-resident founders
- Responding to an IRS notice or audit
- Year-end tax planning before the calendar closes

How it works.
Reserve a 60-minute session through the booking page. You send us a brief description of your situation and the question at hand, along with any relevant documents: formation papers, IRS notices, financial statements.
Ahead of the session, the accountant studies your materials and comes prepared. During it, we examine your question, weigh the options, and arrive at a recommendation. Afterward, you receive a written summary of that recommendation and any next steps within 1 to 2 business days.
If the question turns out to need follow-up work (a formal opinion letter, an entity restructure, a tax filing), we quote that separately. The consultation itself is the diagnosis.

What we cover.
Our accountants are US-licensed and have served clients across all 50 states and 100+ countries. The matters where our depth is genuine:
- Federal income tax for individuals and entities (1040, 1120, 1120-S, 1065)
- State income tax across all 50 states
- Sales tax filing and nexus analysis
- Payroll tax and employee classification
- Entity structure and conversions
- International tax for non-resident founders (FIRPTA, ECI, withholding)
- IRS notices, audits, and appeals
- Estate and gift tax for cross-border families
Should your question fall outside that range, we say so plainly. If you are uncertain, send it through and we will confirm it is a fit before you book.

Questions
Frequently asked
Can I buy multiple consulting sessions?
Yes. We offer single-session consultations and consulting packages for clients who anticipate multiple questions over a few months. The packaged price is lower per hour.
How long is each consultation?
Standard consultations are 60 minutes. If your situation is straightforward, the call may end sooner. If it's complex, we offer a 90-minute extended option, billed at the same rate.
What can I ask during a consultation?
Anything related to US accounting, tax, entity structure, sales tax, payroll, IRS notices, or international tax considerations for non-residents. If your question falls outside our scope, we tell you and refer to a specialist if appropriate.
Do I need to prepare anything?
Recommended: a one-paragraph summary of your situation and the specific question, plus any relevant documents (formation papers, the IRS notice you're asking about, your latest financial statements). The more we have in advance, the more substantive the call can be.
How is the consultation delivered?
Online video call, via a platform we send a link for. You can record the session for your records (we recommend it). After the call, you receive a written summary of the recommendations within 1 to 2 business days.
Is the consultation tax-deductible for my business?
Generally yes, since it's an ordinary and necessary business expense. We provide an invoice in your company's name. Your tax preparer will categorize it as a professional services expense.
